and proven methodologies, such PMBOK and ITIL, across key Project Management
disciplines including:
 | Time Management - established effort estimation and time capture
techniques at the task level, with cyclical updates and adjustments to
maintain milestone deadlines. |
 | Cost Management - Earned Value Analysis (EVA) to assess, adjust, and
report on the Project Plan cost consumption. |
 | Resource Management - resource leveling tools and techniques to
balance availabilities across project portfolios. |
 | Change Management - established cyclical methods to raise, assess,
implement, and close requested and mandated changes affecting time, cost,
or scope. |

My project portfolio includes many projects of
varying size, complexity, and dollar value, as well as many diversified
platforms and technologies. Here are some recent ones:
 | Project Manager for 16 concurrent initiatives for a high profile
E-Commerce reseller to enhance ordering and delivery of computer
hardware items. Project technologies included XML, Macromedia
Cold Fusion, Visual Basic. Project teams typically a dozen,
three month durations, quarter million dollar budgets. |
 | Project Manager for multiple cross-functional projects under the
Project Management Office of a national wireless communication
provider. Projects ranged from small $100K initiatives to large
multi-million dollar mega-projects. Also Manager of Corporate
Project Process assisting other project managers. |
 | Project Manager for a half-million dollar Data Warehouse upgrade
project on both Unix and NT platform, involving Oracle 8 DB, ERWin and
Informatica design tools, and Cognos reporting. |
